Box pump integrated equipment, as a common fluid treatment equipment in modern engineering, its high-energy and integrated characteristics have brought convenience to many fields. However, any device may malfunction during prolonged operation. Next, we will explore in detail the possible faults and their solutions that may occur during the operation of the integrated equipment for box pumps.
1、 Insufficient flow or no pressure
When the integrated equipment of the box pump is running, if it is found that the flow rate is significantly insufficient or there is no pressure at all, it may be due to the following reasons:
Blocked inlet pipe or filter: After long-term use, impurities may accumulate in the water inlet pipe or filter, resulting in poor water flow. At this point, the inlet pipe and filter should be cleaned to ensure smooth water flow.
Bottom valve malfunction: The bottom valve is an important component in the integrated equipment of the box pump. If the bottom valve gets stuck or damaged, it can also affect the water flow. The bottom valve should be regularly inspected to ensure that it is in good condition.
2、 Pump body overheating
Overheating of the pump body is one of the common faults in the operation of box pump integrated equipment, and possible reasons include:
Insufficient or deteriorated lubricating oil: Lubricating oil plays a role in lubricating and cooling the pump body during operation. If the lubricating oil is insufficient or deteriorated, it can cause the pump body to overheat. Regular inspection and replacement of lubricating oil should be carried out.
Bearing damage: The bearing is a key component in the pump body. If the bearing is damaged, it will cause the pump to operate poorly and cause overheating. At this point, the bearings should be replaced.
3、 Pump body vibration or abnormal noise
The vibration or abnormal noise of the pump body may be caused by the following reasons:
Unstable installation: If the integrated equipment of the box pump is not installed firmly, it will cause vibration of the pump body during operation. The equipment should be reinstalled and ensured to be secure.
Impeller damage: The impeller is the core component of the pump body. If the impeller is damaged or deformed, it can cause abnormal noise in the pump body. At this point, the impeller should be replaced.
4、 Electrical faults
Electrical faults are also one of the common faults in the operation of integrated equipment for box and pump systems, which may manifest as motor failure to start, excessive current, etc. Possible reasons include:
Power line fault: Check if the power line has good contact and if there is any open circuit or short circuit phenomenon.
Motor malfunction: There may be short circuits, open circuits, or insulation damage inside the motor. At this time, professional electricians should be invited for maintenance.
5、 Sealing leakage
Sealing leakage is one of the more serious faults in the integrated equipment of the box pump, and possible reasons include:
Aging or damage of seals: Seals may age and become damaged during long-term use, resulting in reduced sealing performance. At this point, the seal should be replaced.
Pump casing rupture: If the pump casing ruptures or deforms, it can also cause seal leakage. At this point, the pump casing should be replaced.
